Alena Aron was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, where she began her study of dance at The Dancer’s Studio/Backstage, under the direction of Jonnie Kelley. She joined Atlanta Dance Theatre at age 9, eventually performing principal roles. She trained in styles including ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre.
Alena is a graduate of Point Park University, earning her BFA in Dance, with a concentration in jazz, and a minor in Musical Theatre. Alena has attended summer dance intensives, including, Commercial Dance Intensive, Peridance Teen Summer Intensive, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, and National Choreography Intensive, to name a few.
Alena has had a passion for Musical Theatre from a young age, which drove her to continue to train in voice and acting. She has also had the opportunity to explore her own choreographic voice, by choreographing a piece for the Student Choreography Project, at Point Park University.
